how to automate biomass burner supply?

I put 7 hours into the game, I'm at Tier 4, but still struggle with the power supply since I only got Biomass Burner as power source, and I have to keep supplying it with wood or leaves. I use CheatEngine to fill up the storage with woods that connects to a biomass generator that supplies the burner, but eventually I always run out of the material. How to get wood just like iron ore with a miner? Or how to automate the whole process?

You cannot. To supply Biomass Burners you must always either manually gather leaves & wood, or cheat them in.

What you need to do is unlock Coal Power (a tier 3 milestone) as that can be fully automated. As you say you're on tier 4, you might have it unlocked already.

Well Tier 3 and Tier 4 is both unlockable, I did most of the stuff in Tier 4 because they looked more interesting, might have to check Tier 3 as well. Thanks for the hint !

Also, don't just burn wood and leaves, turn them into biomass and then into biofuel and then burn biofuel.

If you have to cheat to get enough fuel, it may be because you're burning "raw" wood and leaves.

Generally, one 15-20 minute run is enough for me to collect enough wood to make it to coal power and I usually have leftover biofuel. Learn to collect wood and leaves quickly, do one long run and you should be done with it.

This hurdle designed on purpose as an early game challenge. Before 1.0, in Early Access, the burners were even fed by hand, they didn't have belt connections.

Dude coal gens are the 1st milestone in tier 3…..
Also why aren’t you converting the wood and leaves to biomass then biomass to Solid Biofuel? Did you not unlock the chainsaw milestone?
Biomass burns slower then Leaves/Wood, and solid biofuel even slower.

if you "really" want to use the bio mass burner, theres a belt fed bio mass burner mod, and I think a mycellium biomass source I dont know a lot about but iy might product something that could be fully automated.

The rest is up to you.

When was the last time you played this game? Biomass burners in 1.0 have belt connections now, so no need for a mod any more. But even that will not allow for a full automation as you still need to gather wood and leaves by hand and I don't know if there is "drone lawnmower mod" :)

as can be seen.... there's two storage to get material and make biomass, then merged and sent to a storage buffer and processed to make final item type to be sent to burners....

later on this setup can be improved with only one input storage and using programmable/smart splitters....

not to mention that you should move to coal generators as soon as possible

If you are on tier 4 why are you still using biomass burners?
I think coal is unlocked at tier 3. By the time I get coal unlocked the biomass burners are now just a backup power system.

I think I didn't paid enough attention and got used to the system I already got.

yea, but only for the wood/leaves, because I didn't want to spend hours just by collecting them :D Everything else is cheat-free

Waste of time - by the time you get to automated power you will find out just as much.

Didn't take me hours to gather fuel - try minutes. :P
