Portal Doesnt work

So i have been trying to get my portal in the game working and when i linked it with portal, nothing happend. and i had the singularity cell in it.

that sounds like you had a singular singularity cell while it requires a bunch just to start up and then a bunch per minute to keep running i think

i have 47 in the portal and still doesn't work. its connected to the electricity and has the cell and its linked, so i don't know

It's connected to power,
It's linked with the portal,
it has the cell's in in with the belt from the container.

its stays blue, no matter what i try to do. never goes to purple

Unless you're some sort of planning genius and very experienced in this kind of games then chaos and spaghetti are unavoidable in this game. Maybe after 5th playthrough your factories may start looking somewhat better.

Don't worry about it, don't obsess over neatness, try to have fun and don't look at YT videos, these people played the game for years, for thousands of hours.

Needs 2 cells to open the portal.

I put a main and a satellite next to each other , then I pair them with another set wherever i want to link. I have my singularity cells in the cloud storage, I just drop 2 in and port, When i come back I drop two in the main on the other side.
