Fireworks stack from 500 to 100!?
I manufactured over the year 24.000 (full industrial container) of each firework. Today I loaded my game, opened the calendar and wanted to check/probably extend my production. As I opened the containers the stacks went down from 500 to 100! From 24.000 to 4.800! Why coffeestain? All the hard work just vanished. I'm very disappointed, if not angry. Ficsmas season spoiled - thanks.

Edit: Snowballs also got changed from 200 to 100/stack. Really, why? I don't dare to check my other containers full of Ficsmas stuff.

Yep - I cried a little when my snowball stacks got nerfed.

IIRC during pre-1.0 days the snowballs (and probably fireworks) were basically better versions of the nobelisks simply because of the stack size. They probably adjusted them to match.

So yeah , I haven't unlocked any firework production yet this year, unless I missed something.

the damage of snowballs is much less than of Nobelisks. To they would be (only) good vs destroyable rocks.

Actually no.

They are the same. Can see that clearly in game.

Stand on a nobelisk and count the health bar it reduces
Then repeat the same with a snowball

IIRC snowball does 40% of the damage. Nobelisk has 50 damage max as base value, hence I estimate snowball has 20 damage max.

In the wiki there is no entry for snowball damage, so this self test is all I got.

Mouse over it you will see its two bars damage rating - just like regular nobelisks...rest is meaningless to debate.

So I went to test this but the first thing I noticed was that regular nobelisks are 3 bars of damage, so this is just immediately incorrect.
As for the actual tests, it takes roughly 3 nobelisks to kill the player from full. Three snowballs doesn't even come close, though what I noticed in the process is that the knockback on the snowball is way higher. I tried 7 snowballs at once as well but I was way out of range by the time the last ones went off, but given that the game already doesn't say they're supposed to be the same I didn't feel like figuring out what it would actually take.

Ok I stand corrected - but frankly the damage is on par - only less so compared to a cluster naturally.

But at a higher stack - hard to ignore. Nothing to stop me from tossing them while hovering around.

Seem to remember them being the same - they likely nerf'd the damage as well.
