There a way to turn off screen shake?
Last played this game 2~ years ago, and back then there was certainly options to turn off headbobbing and reduce screen shake, but they have seemingly been removed now. Is there any way in the files I can tone these things down if not entirely remove them?

I do not see them in the options anymore. I used to use them myself. But I do have to say I don't notice head bob or screen shake. I would not play if there was.

It is very noticeable on my end. Every landing is a bob, machines shake, using all tools shake the screen and the overall look of the graphics seems to amplify the affect it has on me. Unfortunately I get headaches from excessive screen shaking, and this game is a rather big offender.

I think those options were part of the unreal 4 engine and dont apply to unreal5 or just didnt get translated over.
To me its like the option is still on...its not an option anymore. I dont even notice any head bobbing as I walk....or maybe I just got used to it.
I did find some things in the console. by searching the word shake
there maybe other options but I am not going to check every possible one.

Yeah been racking my brains over "Screen Shake" - frankly I don't get it - or never noticed - at least to the point of it driving me crazy or causing an issue.

You sure its not your controls being overly sensitive?

To be fair my chainshaw is shaking as I hold it but I sort of expected that to shake

but as I walk I see no headbobbing , at least not on the scale of unreal4 days when they had an option to disable it,

No need to rationalize it lol

Reality is that for whatever reason, I get headaches from screen shake affects. The old option was called headbob, so I referred to it as such because of that. There is no walking headbob, although every single time you land there is one, and many activities you do will cause it.

Not making a federal case out of it, but the reality is that it is there, and this game is one of the bigger offenders of it. Upon further research, I see a lot of others experiencing the same issue (though primarily motion sickness which I do not get), so this isn't just me.

Anyway, one thing is clear, and they removed old settings they had 2 years ago. Is what it is.

Options -> Gameplay -> Camera Movement Feedback Strength (%)

Maybe is it what you are looking for?
