Enabling Vulcan locks me into DX11[forced] with weird resolution change (or not)
I tried restarting the app and changing the setting a few times, but to no avail. Devs, anything regarding this issue?

by any chance... have you set (or is set for some reason) any special launch option at start (game setting in steam, not in the game)

What the helll. Now I'm locked wwith the TAA and NO DLAA?? Can't change it even from main menu (unless I deselect DLSS ?!). I was prettu sure there was DLAA but maybe I'm wrong?

What's worse I can't even enable FG now. WTF.

I updated the DLSS to 3.10.1 but I'm 99% sure I was able to enable the FG after that but it broke after messing up with the Vulcan setting.

No, I would mention it for sure :) I even checked if the steam didnt add anything.

UPDATE: I am able to revert to DX12 from the main menu after restart but no way to use Vulcan.

quite sure you would have told of additional option but you know.... trying to triage :D

for vulkan, have you tried to use command option at startup in steam to force it?
just for the sake of trying....

Actually I haven't but I'm not in the mood anymore seeing how it may affect other moving parts apparently :) A good suggestion anyways.

No idea how, but the FG option came back too. IDK, I'm leaving it be.

Oh, still no way to change the AA method, the TAA is fixed (green letters) when DLSS is selected.

may be some options need a complete exit to take effect? (even if not stated as so, for any reason)

I had to request a refund today, hoping they accommodate. Never had an issue with the game until the last patch. The only way i can even launch the game is using the "-vulkan" startup, and it locks it at the weird resolution and runs at 10 FPS.

Yep - just shader cache updates - other than steam fiddling with things - last update was in December.

The AA method being locked would be due to DLSS using its own AA method.

but why, thats not inherent to dlss? if it was always like this the nevermind I guess

DLSS uses into own anti aliasing algoritm to do the upscaling. its always been like this.

Yes, DLSS and DLAA always use a form of TAA. They then use AI processing to clean up most of the blur, ghosting, and other artifacts left by TAA.

But you can probably force FXAA at the driver level over DLSS/DLAA if you wanted.

That's whjy I'm asking, because in pretty much every other game I played (I dont play much) DLSS is separate from the AA method. Unless DLAA ofc.
