The train does have a weight limit, and the calculation behind it are pretty complex.
Build the tracks on foundation and don't go over a 2m incline. The higher the incline the few the cars you can have.
Maybe in stead of making yet "an another" rant thread about trains/tracks - ask for suggestions instead?
Then please do so and stop making one of these threads nearly every week when you refuse to troubleshoot let alone entertain experienced help.
Not that you'll actually stop - but its a waste of time when there's tons of information and help out there that people just like you refuse to accept.
Better yet - take the week - go do something else.
Come back refreshed.
You have zero excuses - you've had the information presented to you time and time again.
Again - proof that this isn't that hard to do. And I went all out on the "decorating" on mine :P

"Track is too steep" is DEFINITELY not a problem. The trains can go up/down unrealistically steep inclines. Trains IRL cannot do even close to what the game trains can. They're almost getting into funicular territory.
Do you have an example of such an instance? Should be easy enough to get a screenshot if it happens all the time.
Keep it level, keep it simple, and avoid all kinds of stress.
Generally you only use path signals when block signals won't do the job.
That's only if you ever have a unusually complex setup like trying to send multiple trains along the same line but need to share that line (IE: bypasses or complex crossings)
Majority of setups don't really need Path signals.
Curves and elevation changes a plenty.
