Some even provide blueprintvand layout ideas, even build videos on how to turn a generic box into a complex architectural building by adding layers and materials.
I just find video is easier to show builds with flyby mods on, like most youtubers do. Just easier to see.
I do find the thought processes and inspirations from their styles, encourages experimentation.
Like TotalXclipse just released a guide talking about wall and roof design features.
Yakez idea on blueprint modular design, made me use blueprints better... but I am not doing it hos way.
Then for aesthetics, Scalti and Kylo are really good with using design style across a whole build. So I ried to adopted a constant theme across builds.
Me... I am a clutz that likes corrugated iron boxes and metal beams, cause it looks Australian outdoor shed.
But as its been said - do your own thing.
Nuclear power plant isn't fully "prettied" - but happy to say I'm 99% there with Uranium fuel production - just need to make a minor adjustment to concrete load balancing and I can start on waste processing. <in terms of recent buildings>
Personally, I enjoy the sprawl. If it doesn't clip, it doesn't work.

The building on the right is a bit more '3D':

On the inside I like to hide most belts below a false floor and in a dedicated logistics section on the left:

I used the same style on a bigger scale for a different factory:

Still in progress on the inside, but you can see the logistics section better:

Although I'm not a fan of trucks, I built a truck stop to make the roads feel more lively:

Blueprints can make your live a lot easier, but can also make everything look very uniform.

Even with its simple angel change and indented windows... it looks way different to my usual blocky Blueprint concrete and iron smelting towers in the background.
I'm not that good but if it helps to inspire you feel free to check out
