Hi,
You have 3 options...
I'll give you more info based on your answer...
Run dedicated on a pc that you or a friend have to spare and keep running (not ideal)
Run server on a specialized rent a game server that support satisfactory
Run server on a generic server rent platform (like Google cloud compute), but this option can be more complicated as you need to install everything from scratch by yourself... But you'll have maximum flexibility
i have been running a server on my pc last couple days and not 1 person has even logged in so im not even sure if its showing up or not no way to check through epic i guess i havnt found a way yet
I run a homeserver.

Easiest way is Epic Store, I have it on autostart. so my homeserver turns on 9am automatically.

Not sure if its listen online but that wasn't my purpose anyway, its private.

If you have a second PC, even old PCs are fine, you can do it.

4 cores, 8-16 gb of ram. My old rig had an Xeon E5-1620 v4.

Pretty old but it was enough, so if you don't know what works this is a basic to start with.

That's a bit old for sure.

As long it doesn't too much effort, I probably would test it.

I was mostly kidding but thanks for the encouragement.
