Keep Space Elevator?
I have finished the story and now I am just building tickets to buy the golden nut and get my last achievement.

That being said, is there any reason to keep the space elevator anymore?

No reason to remove it - but its essentially done at that point - DLC may change that in the future - who knows.

You can always rebuild it again - but like I said - no reason to remove it really.

Keep it or remove it, is your call.
There is no real reason to keep it, but unless it’s in the way, no reason to remove it either.

It looks cool. You can delete it or move it somewhere else if you want though.

OK thanks... It was built right in the middle of my original home base and is kind of in the way. I have been cleaning up some of my original spaghetti. I might put it on a platform out in the water now just in case there's a future use for it.

I've always moved my space elevator once or twice as I progress - so feel free to "relocate" it somewhere else if you want. Or just remove it until you want it if at all.

I had to delete mine, as it is bugged. It asks for stuff, like an objective that never goes away. It kept asking me for 50 smart plating, so I deleted it. If I build it again, it asks for smart plating, that has no way of satisfying it. You can't even interact with the menu after the final phase. It's dead.

Really annoying that the biggest thing, biggest plopable, biggest part of the skyline in the game... does nothing.

Oh well, I forgot it even existed.
