Assuming you can build the converter and you can connect it to electricity, you can have unlimited excited photonic matter at any location on the map instantly.
Why would you need to transport it?
Same with Dark Matter Residue.
Yeah I'm not sure why you would transport it by train, unless you just what all the Converters in one place.
When you read stuff on the net - best to check with what the Dev's point too as a source.
As with any fluid/gas - they follow the same rules as anything else.
As to Fenix's comment - yep - if there's no recipe - can't package it up - nor unpackage it - so makes sense.
Course that may change at some point - who knows.
Also its considered a "Gas" - so no lift to worry about.
