If this is a joke, then it's not funny. I already wanted to contact the developers in technical support. It ruins the whole atmosphere of the game. Will have to play something else until the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pranksters fix everything.

You can always reload an save from before and disable the seasonal events to avoid further issues. Hopefully you didnt lose much play time and the prior days save is still viable.
