The zipline works without power.
The day you can't afford a power pole/power line material wise is an indication of a much bigger problem.
Very cheap materials - unless your talking Mk2/Mk3.
1 slot for cable and 1 for copper wire and maybe 1 for iron rods is enough materials to go a very very very long ways on a power line.
Also dimensional depot is a thing.
If you can't afford a powerline/pole you certainly can't afford a grapple hook
Could be a Mk2 version of the Rebar gun with a winch to pull you up.
Fun thought, unlikely to ever happen, but still fun.
Why grapple when you can fly. Also the Zipline is a thing. Better than grappling.
Aiming a grapple gun that pulls toward the grapple point could be fasting than building power poles/tower for ziplining, and because you aren't leaving anything behind, keeps you from having to do clean up of the unneeded Power poles/towers.
edit: there's a fun skill in using parachutes to make amazing vertical launcher i recommend learning that skill, gotten me more places then jet packs ever have
Why in blazes would you clean up that stuff? You aren't being graded for ecological purity.
