And you use valves to prevent supply water from backflowing into the waste water pipe and vice versa. You can also use valves to control flow rate e.g. fix your supply water to max 200.

I really recommand you to put that water in bottle and sink it, or to use it for other crafts, like pure ingots or wet concrete.
But it would be nice if we could just let it go back in the lake it came from...
