Request: Character Customization

[Hanabi]

I'm not asking for the Sun, the Moon and the Stars. I would however love to be able to customize my character so it is easy for me and friends to tell ourselves apart. I'll list it in the order of simplicity, simple first.

Easy Stuff:
1: Color Channels for outfit. (Easily Done)
2: Name Selection. (Choose your prisoner name)
2: Outfit Choice. Basic Coveralls? Different types of outfit that fit the task, all based on Engineer types?
3: Gender. Still easy, same as select an outfit, except recording some dude grunts. Same uniforms, slightly different body-build.

Mid Level Stuff:
1: Modular Outfit Stuff. (Select Helmet, Select Body, Select Gloves, Select Boots at Character Creation)
2: Select your Face and have an undersuit character. (IE take your helmet off.)

Hard Stuff:
1: Full character customization. (Face Customization, Voice Selection, Multiple Haircuts)
2: Backstory Customization. (Select your crime/assignment, get a bonus or challenge based on selected crime.)
3: Character Storyline. You may be a mute, but that doesn't mean you don't have history, and depending on your criminal status, some people might have taken a personal interest in you.

All this stuff is really good stuff to have. And I understand not all of it can be done. But I'd love to customize my character and really deeply immerse into the world.

My friend wants to recreate himself in the game, I want to make my character Hanabi look closer to my mental image in my head. And if I play with others, I'd love to be able to know who of my friends I'm playing with at a glance without nametags and minimal UI.

Where are you getting this ridiculous notion that The Pioneer is a criminal? Watch some crack theory video or something? They are just an employee to a mega corporation, that's the only thing we know for certain thus far. Story is slated to come with version 1.0

Character customisation goes against the overbearing mega corporation/corporate drone theme that the game has.

Ehh, I just thought it would be fun. A criminal = Disposable Resource with no human rights. Forced to work as labor for corporation. Your crime? Could be anything from J-Walking to 'Actually being like a G.T.A. Protagonist.'

Heck you could have other backgrounds too, Corporate Wage Slave, Willing Worker. All I'd say is just have some fun with it.

You are a faceless drone. Your individuality does not matter to FICSIT or to Project Assembly. Manufacturing uniforms in multiple colors is a waste of resources. You may very well be a clone. Get back to work.

No, you are a person who is acting as a Faceless Drone. You could be anything. But this is me making an OOC request for more character customization options. Not me trying to discuss lore or such.

This is me trying to get more fun stuff thrown into the game. I for one would love to see the game flushed out with your own character.

Maybe all the character options have the same uniform colour pallet as the current character but have slightly different designs, this would make the game more customisable but still keep the "FISCIT pioneer look"

For all that time you spend in third person? It does almost nothing for immersion, particularly outside of multiplayer. The only times you can actually see your own character are when using hypertubes and driving vehicles, which constitutes less than 1% of your time in game. I am not saying character customization is a bad thing, it's just of incredibly situational use in Satisfactory, to the point that time spent developing the tools and functionality for it could be better used elsewhere.

What if The Pioneer is Rosie the Riveter, like there's a big war which is why Pioneers are always female? Her husband and sons are off to war, and it's up to her to keep 'em flying.
