Anyone else encasing things?

I was going to put a power tower thing on top of this huge rock outgrowth that's at least40 meters tall, i was laying concrete on the the top to make it neater to setup the tower then I got carried away and the entire thing is encased in concrete so you can't even tell it used to e a mini mountain. I know it's at least 40 meters because now I have an elevator on the side to get me close to the top. I fear I may pave the entire planet and you won't see any foliage or nature ever again.

I like to leave nature as intact and visible as possible. when I lay foundations I sometimes chose a height so that at least somewhere a rock or stone or grass is peeking through the foundations. It makes the factroies less sterile.

The most beautiful factories I have seen have inside sometimes a tree or a tree at a pond and that looks so awesome if you build organic and involve the local nature into your factory design.

The forementioned is of course much more difficult than building on elevated platforms but worth the effort.
