You need path signals on all tracks leading into the junction, and block signals on all tracks leading out.
Beware of adjacent tracks not part of the junction that are close to it but don't actually touch - two tracks close enough to each other will count as the same block even if they don't touch
This - frequently folks use Path Signals where Block Signals should be and vice versa.
Some with success - but if you read the fine print - they are specifically designed for a given task.
The name causes confusion for sure - but its the thing.
Then it needs to be reported - https://questions.satisfactorygame.com/ - so the dev's can review/fix etc.
I'm on vanilla here - not interested in beta testing at the moment so can't say or repro the issue here.
