Then again, I've not yet tried having multiple trains visiting the same station.
If you've seen trains ram into other trains that are currently docking, then you can disregard what I've said. Also if that's the case, it should be brought up as a bug or feature since if you can't put stations in blocks, and stations aren't naturally considered their own blocks, how do you keep multi train stations from having problems?
At this station complex I have block signals at the entrance and path signals at the exit

Oh yes and at the exit picture you can also see that I left in the picture two stations in series have built each with signals also secured
Edit: Yeah it works. Stop signal right at the station entrance and no other train will crash into an unloading train. Just make sure they all enter and leave the station in one direction only or you'll deadlock.
