Mk1 drill problem
Hello good, the fact is that when I put a Mk1 drill on any deposit it tells me "invalid placement" I have tried to rotate and it still does not let me, there is nothing hindering it or anything like that, help?:steamsad:

Does there appear to be a large rock on top of it that looks similar to the material you're trying to mine? Can you hand mine that rock like you can the deposit on the ground itself? If so, then you simply need to hand mine the part that's sticking up until you mine it all (won't take too long), and then you can put the miner down.

Yeah, I just tried it myself and the deposit on top was blocking the node. I know at one point it didn't matter, but maybe a recent patch made it matter again. Removing the deposit allows for normal construction again.

Frankly I think the devs need to remove those pure rock deposits off the nodes. It's like they are putting a dab of whipped cream on a cake; it's silly.

I suspect they do this to make them a little more visible when you are hunting.
