What's up with drones?

This is the first time I've reached drones in this game, this is more of a question than a bug report (but it could be a bug). I'm trying to setup a drone to go from port A > B > C > D and then back to A, which is where it is fed batteries. However, after going from A to B, it simply goes back to A. It's ignoring my destinations choosen after B. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I'll post screenshots if needed though the port names aren't in English which may cause some confusion, but I'm pretty sure they're setup properly.

As far as i know drones only Go from a to b and back to a

Oh. I thought you could chain them based on the given UI. Bummer, but fair enough, they'd probably be too overpowered if they could be chained.

Maybe I can accomplish what I want by setting up smart splitters at the base where the batteries are and setting 3 or 4 drones going to it. There are only a couple outposts producing high end stuff I need to connect to the elevator :)

Ive done what you are thinking beardoof, so far its worked very well. I made a battery factory and I made it my 'battery delivery station as well. Right now, I have 4 docks ONLY to deliver batteries to 4 locations on the map. (In my case, all the drones either pick up or deliver in at least one of the battery delivery zones, if I need a new location for batteries, I just tie another dock into the existing bank.

Hey everyone, another possible bug with drones:
All of my drones are gone mad a while now. They are flying through the world and / or trees/cliffs etc. on very low height. They still reach their destination but it looks wired. Does anyone know if this is gone be fixed in update 6 ?
