Anyway to add custom music playlist to the game?
Mp3 format for background music
or even better, radio mod?

Nah. Some games have mods that do that, but they all end up badly affecting the game. It's not generally a good idea. Just use a music player separately and turn off in-game music.

Any news on a mod like this - to use the same music-pool on all clients parallely without hassling around with external players to keep the atmo the same for all players.

Just use Winamp in the background.

For other players likely they will need the same files in their own client, so this isn't likely. My suggestion is to play music in a discord bot.

No kidding, I was about to say the same thing. You know about mods, but you can't figure out how to just turn on spotify, or play your own album in the background? Huh? :csd2huh: I really don't understand the problem.

Steam's music player needs serious work. As it is now, I have to build a playlist in Windows Media Player, export it as m3u, open it up and copy that into Steam's m3u8 playlist, and restart Steam. It sees all of my music files as it tells me how many tracks I have, but I cannot select any of them to build a playlist within Steam.

I do find the game is very unstable using WMP in the background, but not with Steam's player. Then again, WMP will also play YT videos, so that could be part of the instability.

That's why I don't use Steam Player. I still use good old Winamp.

Personally I use MusicBee, but same result.

I like the radio idea. Maybe link it to Spotify, or another music streaming service. I do like the music though.

Yes. I don´t wan´t to use a third-party app. I wan´t to have the music just ingame and this automatically and for all the same. So Winamp isn´t an option. Nobody should be able to miss to start winamp. Just all starting the game - ready to go.

turn on winamp first, nothing to be missed. Ready to go.

No, we wan´t to use our music addionally to the vanilla one.

For anyone searching for the same. Someone has created a internal player idea - you can upvote:
