[Solved] Chests EVERYWHERE 😣
I have a problem. During the rebuild of the conveyor belt system in my base, I forgot that chests spawn when your inventory is full. Now there are definitely over a hundred chests scattered across a huge area. They're gray, hardly visible, and are somewhere in the tight spaces on the conveyor belts, almost impossible to find despite the map icon. QUESTION: HOW can I delete these chests? I don't care what's in the box.

THANK YOU! ♥️

Thanks for the tip. Where can I find the interactive map please? You don't mean the in-game map, because I can't edit a save game file with it?

He's talking about on the satisfactory-calculator website.

Otherwise you have to go to each box in game and pull out the contents... when you empty the box, it will dissapear. Death crates and overflow boxes like those are only temporary until you remove the contents of the box.

even if it's just deleting crates from ther map, this kind of savefile "modification" will already deactivate achievements though, right?

wish there was an option under gameplay/control to not let the game delete objects whose decomposed materials won't fit in inventory it's so easy to forget about it

No it won't, why would it? The game has no way to tell it has been modified. It's just a normal save file.
