Blueprints aren't included in cloud saves
While I can access my save across multiple PCs, the blueprints that I create are only available on the PC that I made them on.

Where are blueprints saved? So I can sync them manually

Go to the computer with the files you want, put them on some removable media, walk it over to the target computer and copy them on to it

And then every time I update or create blueprints, repeat it all over again?

It's 2024, I can just create a symbolic link to dropbox and automate it.

The irony of manually transferring save files back and forth for Satisfactory is great.

I used Syncthing instead. But yeah, it can be automated. It's a little weird that the devs didn't do it, but I remembered reading the reason recently. I just forgot it again after.

Maybe it's to allow for downloading other people's blueprints? If your blueprints were tied to your save file, you wouldn't be able to share just the blueprints

I don't think thats the reason. For example factorio haves separate blueprint cloud sync that needs to be turned on and they are not save specific blueprints either

With you mucking about in the save file folder, They’re worried that Steam or epic will accidentally delete your save file.

So if I weren't mucking about in the save file folder, Steam wouldn't accidentally delete my save?

Meaning the devs should have included blueprints in the save file itself, so I didn't have to muck about?

It's the slow network by grabbing your sneakers and walk that 3.5" DD diskette over to your friends so they can xcopy it.

Then you couldn’t share them with others
