White square on map and compass - any solution?

So I know The white square bug was a known issue before, not sure about 1.0 though. Is there anything I can do to remove it? It's appearing under the train stations list and was bearable for a short while. Gets obnoxious after some time though.

maybe you placed a map marker and just need to remove it from the map?
it would help if you had a screenshot of what it looks like so I can tell if its a map marker or not.

I can't link a screenshot at the moment since I unfortunately got the game when it first released in early access and was only available on Epicgames.

As for the square, it is definitely not a placed map marker. I've added and removed plenty of those and they are basically diamonds (rotated squares). The bug I'm referring to is a massive white square that ends up obscuring everything on the compass in its general direction and doesn't have any text next to it in the map legend. I tried clicking on it to remove it, but just like train stations (which it is categorized as), the HUB, space elevator and truck stops, you can't manually adjust or remove them.

There's also 3 different instances of it on the same exact location for whatever reason.

This happened to me, when i starteed blueprints with train stations.
The map markers are completely bugged. I can't even click them and deleting a train station does not remove the marker, making it seem to stay seemingly forever.

that would actually make sense since they started appearing at around the moment I started messing around with the blueprints

you can go to https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/interactive-map

there you can upload your current save file and edit it if you want. to fix the square issue, all you have to do is upload and download it again, then put it in the save folder and load the new save after booting up the game. The square should be gone. Best to avoid putting truck or train stations in the blueprinter after that.
