I love this game, but really dislike pipes.
Title says it, I mean it. Fantastic game, I love it. But every time I have to mess with pipes I get so depressed. Wish they'd make fluids act like gasses in pipes and take away all the stress.

Edit: Is there a mod that does this? I might actually consider using a mod for the first time if yes.

What sort of problem you have with Fluid pipes?

I havent really had any problem, except them taking a lot of space.

Yeah I'm not looking for help with pipes. Just venting my disdain for them. I've found all the work arounds and my systems work just fine. I just really, really loathe working with fluids in this game. That's all.

I think the number of people using the mod for pipe might be higher. In fact, if there is a mod that makes pipe have a direction like a conveyor belt, people might be using it all the time.

But right now, AFAIK, the mod doesn't work. So you might need to use the bare minimum of the pipe to progress.

Do you know the name of the mod?

I don't use any mods in my game. I consider them as cheating. There might be some mod that makes the game harder or more 'balanced'. But I think playing on Vanilla is just like what the Dev wants us to play.

Same, I don't use mods for games generally unless it's a modpack like ftb infinity evolved expert or something, a whole challenge pack that makes it a whole new game. But, I'd break that self imposed rule this one time to not have to deal with fluids.

I'll look around for the mod when they are all updated. Thanks friend.

Mod name is "All fluids are Gases" in Satisfactory Mod Manager.
But at the moment no mods are working, so stay tuned.

looking forward to the time when I can go back to answering with "there is a mod for that" but SML is still being worked on so we have to wait.

I feel ya!
I'm Waiting For "Infinite Nudge", "Infinite Zoop", "SMART!", "SNAP ON", and "Factory Skyline"

Or if you are not into modding make sure you use the packager and a lot of spaghetti :)

I'd really love "straight mode" for pipes like they added for belts

Pipes are same in 1.0 as they were in update 8, 7, 6.
Build with gravity in mind and it works every time, least for me.

Just come off whatever, go over 2 4m walls in vertical mode, back down, valve into a buffer, then where-ever you want. I've used this on simple systems to combining multiple normal nodes for 600m^3 / minute with no issues.

I feel like most people who have issues with pipes aren't taking the time to ensure the entire pipe network is filled before powering their inputs. That and most people don't seem to make use of valves to loop pipes back into themselves to prevent backslosh.

I don't loop back, I just load balance and prime along with the bump.
