Tier 9 is awesome, but the last delivery is far too easy to complete

I was expecting some huge goal to have to achieve, expand across the map, build several large supporting factories to have to set up logistics networks to, i was looking forward to it, but when i started going through the recipes to start working out what resources id need it became apparent that i would be able to just make all this stuff in an hour or two.

Tier 9 itself is amazing, i love all the new buildings and items, its a shame i barely had to really use any of them to complete the game, im actually really dissapointed lol, i honestly could have kept playing for another 20-50 hours but now there's no point.

Coffeestain you guys did an amazing job on the final tier but man you need to up those numbers for space elevator items, I got all the sam ore stuff i could possibly need from a single normal sam node, and having it air dropped in via drones.. that was supposed to be a temporary setup to help me unlock the tier 9 milestones but i just ended up easily finishing the game with it.

I think they might add something for us to do later. But right now, building a bigger and more efficient Factory is the goal of the game. Until they added more goals for us, that is.

I mean the update 8 place holder goal was 10 x longer and actually required you to expand a lot. I was not expecting to be able to bum rush the final goal in an hour or two

With sloops it was by far the shortest phase for me. Then after that it's over and there's nothing much to do. I was hoping to be able to send up more space elevator parts or some kind of long term infinite goal. Maybe something like getting more sloops instead of tickets when sending up space parts.

Agreed. In difficulty, tier 8 is miles above tier 9. I used half a college block to calculate ratios and production chains for turbo motors & co (first timer). Last phase was plopping down some machines and producing the parts without much planning required.

Very dissapointing after waiting all these years to have the last milestone be just some light afternoon work 😭 The final elevator part only needs 200 pieces lol.. it should literally be like 4000 pieces, it should be so high that we're required to go and scale up our production and master the new tier 9 production chain.

No one is stopping you from making your own end game requirements. Fill 10 large storage units of all end game items. There. Have fun with that.

For those used to the massive goal that was Phase 4 in EA, that was intentionally inflated. They don't want to gate 'finishing the game' behind an objective that only a limited number of people will actually complete.

I got up through most of the tier 8 research on the factory slabs I set out back in Phase 2... but this weekend I finally started tearing things down and rebuilding for much larger infrastructure, have not delivered anything for the Phase 4 project assembly myself... and likely will be a while before I do. Just finished a massive turbofuel plant for 50000 MW of power that basically took all day yesterday to build.
