Satisfactory Calculator Automated Miner
So I'm using https://satisfactory-calculator.com/ right now to plan a big factory which produces all sorts of iron and steel stuff. I want this to include an Automated Miner Constructor, but I cannot find the Portable Miner in the output items list. I did select the alternate recipe for Automated Miners in the options.

I also tried to "cheat" the miner into the planner by adding "Desc_PortableMiner_C%22%3A%221%22%2C%22" to the URL, but it did not work. So has anybody ever found a way to get Portable Miners into the planner? Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place.

Another Calculator question that I have is about the Interactive map. I want to teleport to Hard Drives, but it seems I can only do so when i have visited a location close to the Hard Drive already, Or when it is a Drop Pod which requires power. This makes the teleporting far less useful sadly and I really don't want to do this on foot...

Well I really hope a lot of people on here actually use the Satisfactory Calculator and can help me with this. Much appreciated!

Try a different production building than a constructor.
If you look an item up in the game with N or O you will see in what production building it's made.

Hint: when you got the recipe it told you it's made out of two components. That would be a machine with 2 belt inputs.

They probably didn't thought that anyone needs them. It's a 3rd party tool, you should ask them directly https://github.com/AnthorNet/SC-ProductionPlanner/issues

Well yeah I said constructor but obviously I meant assembler. But that wasn't really my point. I want to use in the planner on Satisfactory Calculator, but I don't think it's in the list there. I really wanted the Planner to include this into The Plan

Well that is Satisfactory Tools. It does indeed have the miner. But it's quite lacking in other options compared to Satisfactory Calculator

look, it need 4 iron plate and 4 steel pipes PER MINUTES.... it's not that hard to add into your planning... meaning that those two belts would be stopped most of the time so even if you build it in a manifold system. you don't need that much miners anyway.

So if you need to add it for plans: Just add 4 iron plates, and 4 steel pipes in the outputs, and just merge the two together. of course, multiply that number with how many miners per minutes you want to make. and for each miners per minute you want, it will require 1 assembler... so if you want to make like... 10 per minute, you'd need 10 assembler, unless you overclock to 250% then you'd need 4

What's interesting about the Satisfactory Calculator not having the portable miner on its list of items is that it does have two things that really have no reason to be there.
Beacons, as they don't exist anymore.
Coupons, as they are neither produced nor consumed by any production building. (Awesome Sink is not classified as a production building.)
