Recipe for Iron Ingots is gone from my constructor.

I had a full production line, up to Space Elevator I did phase one for it. Yesterday I wanted to add a spliter to direct some of my iron core to a container box while still sending same to my first constructor that was making iron ingots in the production chain. For this I had to move it and relocate it a bit. So I did take it out. Added spliter in front of my belt coming from miner, then constructor and belts to restore my production chain with a added spliter and a container box. To my great surprise since I did this the constructor has lost the iron ingots recipe and only propose iron plates! What is wrong? Bug ? I do not want to scratch all of my factory for this and redo it all. Any suggestions welcome for more advanced players.

Iron ingots aren't made in constructors, unless you are using a mod.

You need a smelter for Iron Ingots

You are confusing smelter and constructor.

The iron ingot recipe was never part of the constructor.

Doh! My bad. FICSIT warned me I was working to much !! TY guys for wake-up!
I took out my smelter but replaced it with a constructor when rework was done. My error :-) Now to find out why smelter does not want to start when it has power.

EDIT: I don"t use any mods.
EDIT2: Production line fully restored and working.

Output is full
No input
Smelter is turned off

Only with an alternative recipe you can make iron ingots, but that is with a foundry I think
