As of 1.0, is there currently a way to enable more than 4 players in a world at a time?

I have a total of five friends that want to play Satisfactory together, but the maximum number of players in a world by default is 4. Is there a way to expand that?

yes, it's just a setting in ini files.

There are ways to set up a dedicated server on your computer to use with your friends so the player limit is increased, or you can go to a website that offers dedicated server hosting and you pay based on the number of max players. I've been using indifferent broccoli to host my save for me and my friends since 2022 with no issues, and their price plans go from $13 for 8 max players to $33 for 64 max players.
