Hard drive scanner doesnt work (BUG)

There is a bug where your object scanner doesnt pick up any hard drive even if your right by it. I have seen some people say it works but i havent seen mine work ever. Its a blatantly obvious bug and im surprised they havent fixed it yet...

Yes I have also encountered this bug. In fact, the HDD scanner has NEVER worked for me, not even once.

I believe this bug was there since update 6 or so.

It is a known bug. Some of the sites do work. But I just found out that there are quite a lot of crash sites that didn't get detected properly. This also includes the Radar Tower. My Radar Tower detects 2 HDD but I got about 4 HDD in the vicinity.

I suspect they're preoccupied with fixing crashes and whatnot atm.. I'm sure patience will pay off.
I use SCIM (turn off all other layers) - it's a bit of a cheat as the range is far superior to the scanner.

There are some particularly the new spots that are not set up yet. It will be in time and is already reported. Rather have the crash and major bugs fixed first

Yes, I have this bug as well. The scanner only seems to ping for some HDs, not sure why it doesn't ping for others.

Didn't pay off when it went unfixed for multiple major updates in a row...
