Wet Concrete Alternative Recipe
I cannot seem to get the Wet Concrete Alternative Recipe in the release 1.0 of Satisfactory. Has it been removed? It existed when I played in EA update 5&6 and I've designed a steel factory around the recipe. There's only 1 normal limestone node in the surrounding area so the factory cannot run at normal speed until I get the recipe.

I've been shamelessly abusing the re-roll hard drive mechanic in desperation and after 45 mins of load, rescan, load rescan etc (100s of rolls) I've get to get Wet Concrete! The other 2 concrete recipes have come up several times, and seen most recipes 4-5 times now.

Either I am really unlucky, CS made it very rare to roll, or it's been removed from the game... can anyone tell me which one is the case here please?

Thank you.

Yea...it's in 1.0
I've got it unlocked, it's in there.
I get it quite early on. IIRC, it can only be unlocked after you unlock the fluid network first. This means unlocking the Coal power generator first before it shows up. However, you cannot use it until Oil processing.
Still there. You need refineries to use it.

But don't worry, I also had some bad alt recipe RNG today. Scanned about 10 harddrives for 5 alt recipes that I want and got none of them. Have all the requirements for them but no luck. Got 13 more harddrives, maybe tomorrow.
For some weird reason you unlock it around tier 3/4, even though you can't use it without a Refinery from tier 5/6.
Sounds like you might've left HDDs a bit too long and ended up with a backlog of recipes that are diluting it. You'll have a better chance by just sitting on 5-10 HDDs (10-20 recipes total) to lock them out.

Thanks, glad it is still there. I'm on tier 6 so it should be in the pool. I'll try some more I guess.
If you've been neglecting HDDs, then that's your problem right there. I think completing the Oil milestone unlocks a ton of alternative recipes, so it'll really clutter up the options.

Not really comparible to when you unlock sulphuric acid and nitric acid. Geez, the amount of recipes with them.

Fair, haven't got there yet and sitting on about 10 HDDs, 10 unscanned and nothing remaining.
I unlocked aluminium, hoverpack and hazmat, built the hoverpack, then decided I needed to go back and actually start setting up proper factories for all the products I've kinda skipped.
Despite completing Phase 3 and unlocking everything on the MAM that I can with my current tech (bar Programmable Splitters), I have never manufactured a single Computer or Heavy Modular Frame. I've been relying entirely on scavenged loot.

Maybe I should do an aluminium factory first though. Unlocking T5 belts would be handy.

I've seen in the MAM, so its 100% there, but i re-rolled it.

Yeah, I'm going a bit of a different route. Unlocked basic Aluminium stuff, then the production of Supercomputers (which has Nitric and Sulphuric acid) so that I can unlock MK3 miners and build my Aluminium plant directly for that upgrade to MK5 belts.
Wanted to get sloppy alumina, pure aluminium ingot, diluted fuel, classic battery and alclad casings. Tough luck with all the additional nitric and sulphuric acid stuff. But: much better yield for your ingots. Even exceeds the pure ingot recipes.
Currently getting stuff together for the supercomputer production, which involves using two pure oil nodes for all the plastic I need (and finally automating gas filters). But, I get more fuel already with the diluted packaged fuel so also more power.
think of alts as a way to use up leftover values of resources available.
using sulfur to make ingots isnt something id normally want to do, but if i have leftovers from a sulfur-dedicated factory that i can re-feed or export small amounts of something else.
Its in the game. If you are cheating with save scumming, you can aswell just use SCIM to unlock it in single click (and dispose one HDD somewhere in the game to feel like its not cheating).

I'm setting up my Sloppy/Electrode/Pure/Casing plant to account for 1200/min and the inevitable Mk3 Miner.
Had plenty of Alclad left over from crash sites, so I've used Mk5 belts where necessary, and run two split Mk4 lines from the miner.

All I have left to do now is bring in a line of copper and process the scrap. Then I can Mk5 everything start building towards the Mk3 Miner milestone.
