Alien Power Augmentor dimensions
Hi,

I'm about to build my power plant and want to hold space for the (far away) power Augmentor to boost the output. How many space (foundations 4x4/5x5...) have I to keep to place it in the middle of it? The Wiki only says 28m x 28m. Have anyone a picture showing it on foundations so that I can have a look? That would be nice and help me a lot! Thanks.

Centred on a 4x4x4 blueprint designer (its too tall to fit in).

28/8 = 3.5 foundations wide, so use a 4x4 grid.

It boosts your power grid. You can build it anywhere, only connection matters.

If you want to use the super boost it will need to be near the factory for the input. These things use roughly 10% of the someroops on the map (they cost 10) which cuts down the number of machines you can supercharge

No? He's correct, you could build it on the moon if you wanted to. All that matters is that its linked to your power grid. It doesn't need to be anywhere near your power generators. I assume OP is just doing it for aesthetic reasons though.

You missed the point.
It's about the second 30% boost by feeding 3x5 alien power matrix per minute into them.
It can still be done on the moon but you probally need a drone port.

I doubt that's a consideration for most people who haven't got anywhere near T9 yet.

And it's not like dismantling it and building it somewhere else is a daunting prospect...

You got an open window to the next thing and you dont plan for it? Please make sense.

Are you actually trying to be elitist in Satisfactory? About new stuff that isn't until ultra late game? And by your own admission, can be handled by just sending a drone to it?

Wow, just lol.

Sorry to bother you again. Would this work too?

Even if it doesn't, you can just build a normal 4x4, place the thing, then remove the corners and add the diagonal foundations. Visually it should work just fine, but you never know with this game's "floor too uneven" rules.
