How much ram for 1.0 dedicated server?

All the information I find online for how much ram you need for a dedicated server is pretty outdated. Does anyone have any up to date information?

Ideally what I'm looking for is how much it actually uses (including caching), not just "I have 16GB and it works". I assume requirements increase with save complexity too

12GB minimum, 16GB RAM is recommended for larger saves or to host more than 4 players.

My dedicated server is using 4.5GB right now. I got a couple really big factories. That isn't including any OS overhead though. I'd add maybe another 1.5-2GB to the total at most for OS overhead

The little linux server I use for hosting games for me and my brother is using 8/16GB right now. That's with Autopause turned off in the server manager so it'll keep producing resources while we're not logged in. I had Stationeers and Satisfactory dedicated servers running on it at the same time and was using around 15ish. 16 is fine for a small server.

If you have an hosting with easy provisioning change....

Start with minimum, look how it behaves and how memory it uses .. as you get lower ram free on system.. just provision more at next restart...
