Hyperloop top speed?
I've received an achievement saying 140KmH.
Mind, I am offline most of the time, so I doubt all the achievements are registered. Wouldn't really do that simply to check top speeds.
At this time I'm pretty certain I'm well beyond mach 1.
Takes about three-four seconds across the dune desert between starter area(not the desert edge) and the quartz nodes. So is there a top speed?

Well yes. Sorta. You can get launched across the map and off it with a big enough cannon. That used to be a way of getting rid of nuclear waste. Load up the character inventory and shoot yourself off the map.

ed: Sure thing. It worked. My setup is a bit different with verticality and added acceleration to avoid spending an eternity in a Möbius-strip before launch. The fact I also tried a three-way split kinda messed things up. Not giving up on that, though.

Is there a max? I've not tried a cannon more than about 18, cause that was just silly. I prefer priority switched 5-8x way spit battery powered cannons over loops.

I got that achievement too, but haven't built any hyper tubes or even driven a vehicle yet, so perhaps fall speed counts?

Likewise. After getting the HDD, I did the platforming to reach that uranium node on top of the mountain, which turned out to be an achievement.

Then I jumped off.
