Yeah that's what I ended up doing, lost 30 mins of progress. Oh well.
I thought we couldn't lose items in the void because a box gets created, that's all. Guess that's not the case.
Yes, the default was too often. I do 30 min save intervals in most games, it's generally an acceptable level of loss to me. Luckily I didn't lose much because I was staring at machines pondering ratios.
