somersloop consumption?
I've scoured the wiki and steam forums. i cannot find a clear answer. if i put them in a machine to double the production of whatever it makes, do they eventually get consumed?

Nope similar to power shards, put them in when you want to use them, take them out when you want them back.

Somersloops is limited to 106 per map so it will not make sense to consume them, plus if they degrade in your factories and can negatively ruin it then it will fall under factory maintenance which is something they very much don't want to do.

They get consumed only for research in MAM (A couple of them in total)

Wish that for the MAM just scanned the items and then gave them back instead of consuming the items, especially for these limited resources like Somersloop and slugs.

Slugs are, as per 1.0, they do not respawn Snutt said. Also, I haven't found a new slug on the locations I already found them
