I dislike Discord with passion but it's genuinely helpful because pretty much all devs and modders use it. It's the best source of information on the game.

Discord gave me a lot of nightmares with DM spammers (and images in those messages), so I left it. Probably there will be a big announcement when mods are back

I don't have any own channels or friends on Discord and I blocked all DMs, you can do that in the settings. I never get any unwanted content. I only read announcements from channels I subscribe to and rarely posts there as the UI/UX is pretty awful.

I check it daily so as soon as I learn that mods are back I'll post here.

Oh, and getting help with the game, mods or dedicated server through Discord is much better and quicker than anything else. I resisted Discord for a long time, but eventually gave in. Devs and modders hang out there often and, at least the Satisfactory channels, are well moderated, so it's quite civil. I had modders answer my questions in a matter of minutes on Discord.

Then you can guess that the mods will work in the next patch. Which will come out when it comes out. Tomorrow, maybe a week from now.

there's no way around discord if you want real-time information, the only other option i can think about is twitter, yet regarding other posts here, has little to no control over what content you're exposed to and it is much more complicated to find what you're looking for since discord is based off of chat rooms

Modmanager suddenly stopped working for me, it just doesn't start anymore. Fresh install didn't help. Anyone else encountered this?

Just checked after your post. Working fine. 56 mods installed. No problems.

For some reason, Windows considered this a background application. There were a dozen instances of modmanager hidden deep in task manager. After killing those SMM worked as before.
