Trains In a First person game, Impressive.. Lacking on map?

I gota say first person shooters have always done trains like garbage...
But this is actually amazing, its awesome to build the tracks then be driving around on them in minutes

But why on earth cant I see them on the map.
Am I missing something?

I don't know if you noticed but you can't see your Factory on the map either.
The game does add Icons for Train Station, Truck Depots and Drone Ports, Everything Else you have to mark with Map Icon yourself. (ok, the Hub and Elevator are there too)

Snutt said they were considering the idea of a detailed map that shows your building, like the SCIM, they like it, but they're not sure if they can do it due to performance consideration, I think. So, I think for now it may be off the table.

Well it wouldn't have to be every building, right?
Just seeing train and tractor routes would be a huge help.

Or make it an option, so the older CPU can turn it off, or the players with a newer CPU can turn it on. But the biggest problem is that buildings are not fixed builds, so that must be calculated in a split second when updating/loading the map overlay

Trains should be visible on your map and on your HUD as moving icons.
Just make sure you have them enabled on your map.

Open your map and look for Trains in the menu on the left. There should be a + or - signs there depending if you've got the list expanded or not. Next to it there are two icons. One that looks like compas. That's the one to show/hide trains on your HUD and the other is like a pin with a dot. That's the one showing or hidning Trains on your map.

The map won't show you the train tracks though. Just moving trains.

You can do that for all your vehicles.
