As for Computer locations, You are just going to have to look around wrecks for them, but those tend to be guard by stronger enemies (if you have them turned off this isn't a issue)
Use the interactive map, it's a great tool and helps you keep track on your collections. (You can have it check your save to show the map and what you have and have not gathered)
Thank you big time.
They can have radioactive Alpha Hogs as well.
IVE BEEN DOING IT BY ACCIDENT HOW I DO THAT?
I ran into one of those, but since the crash site also had uranium outcrops getting rid of the hog didn't really help. I ended up sprinting in at full speed to grab the computers and hard drive, then sprinted off the edge and hit my chute with about 1 tick of health left.
To find them you have different options
- explore and sharp eye
- unlock and build radio towers
- unlock and build scanner for HDD
Just fly at any inclined surface that isn't quite vertical. You need something like 10 degrees off the vertical to fly "up" them.
You get a feel for it after a while of what you can skim up and what you can't. I still haven't bothered making a Jetpack yet even at T8 just because of that (and Ladders exist).
