Who decided to abandon the good wiki after 1.0?
So for reasons unknown we had two wikis:

The latter is now the only updated one. Who decided this??? I know it's a wiki and anyone can go fix it, but somehow there was a consensus to abandon the first one and I find that interesting. I like the fandom one because it hold your hand in determining which alt recipes are "the best" with the resource breakdown list.

Anyone here in this mysterious wiki-council that could tell me if there's any plans on making the gg-wiki as useful, since that's now the "official" one?

Fandom stinks, that's why people left. Their websites are horrible, not to mention the company itself also is.

And guess what, wikis are community efforts. You are a part of the community. So maybe instead of being very whiny and waiting for other people's charity, YOU could be the one to contribute this time around and make it better like you want it to be? You know, give back to the community that donated their time and effort to make your experience better?

The developers Coffee Stain Studio decided with the community volunteers who were working on the wiki.

The old one was the official one, but due to issues with Fandom.wiki it was abandoned.
The official wiki was moved to the Wiki.gg

Fandom sucks (as a company) is why the OG Wiki team moved to wiki.gg
I'm not sure about that last part

Also, the wiki is not the only source of information for this stuff, in fact whatever info you had on fandom was just pulled from Satisfactory Tools website: https://www.satisfactorytools.com/1.0/ You can just go there and get the information you want directly from the source... Satisfactory calculator also works too, both websites will give you detailed breakdowns of everything. No need for any wiki.

Also...had been asked fandom to delete the now useless wiki.... But they don't comply

Maybe you could explain what makes it the "good wiki" and everyone could work towards improving the new one?

You didn't get the memo.

They abandoned fandom back in 2023. Since both are user updated I think some people were still updating fandom but little by little fell by the way side as none of the devs were supporting it and everything new the devs did was put into wiki.gg instead.

The problem I have most google results bring me to fandom site and never even notice the wiki.gg page. So what I do is when google sends me to fandom I click on it then edit the url to put in wiki.gg and there I find the page I really want.
I wish someone would just start deleteing the fandom pages so google results would more reliably go to wiki.gg as that is the one coffee stain prefers now.

Yeah, fandom is trash, both in terms of how the company operates and how the site works from a user perspective. It's a non-stop ad fest if you hit it with any browser that isn't running a metric ton of ad-blocking stuff. Hitting it on mobile is a nightmare. Was super happy when Terreria jumped off fandom to gg and even moreso when Satisfactory did the same.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

what we should do is replace all pages on the site to redirect to this one

Fandom is trash. 5000 ads blocking the content constantly. Companies need to have official wiki's hosted on their own servers.

The good point of wiki on external websites is they stay when the studio die or when that's an old game from early 2000s. Can also have better tools than a website made by a studio who don't always want to put too much money on that
But anyway fandom has too much ads for being nice to use without even talking of keeping it on the side while playing

Agreed. Google+Fandom = unnecessary forum threads asking a question that would normally be resolved. And unnecessary ad consumption of course.

By the way, I haven't been to either wiki yet lol. My statement refers to other games with same situation.
