fixmas or other seasonal events still work in 1.0?

Was wondering if Fixmas event will still activate and if they plan to add other seasonal events like Halloween?

I recall hearing a mention of Ficsmas in one of the recent videos- like Snutt was talking about how they will need to fix bugs before adding anything to the game, and I think he mentioned that includes making sure that Ficsmas still works in time.

I don't think it works as of now- but it should be updated by the time it would be seasonally relevant. I'm highly confident that they won't abandon the concept.

Don't know they already have season events ready or almost ready but CM Snutt just keeping it secret for now.... or if it isn't really in (or scheduled) and need to be re-implemented with 1.0

In a few days (on 8th) there will be an event with multiple dev studios including coffee stain... and in there there could be some news (don't know if for seasonal or others)

I asked about a fixoween a few years ago during a stream, they said good idea but the studio was too busy to spend dev time on seasonal events.

its not likely they will haven time for a Halloween based event in 2024. but maybe in 2025.
as for ficsmas I think its still there but they need to make some changes as one of the items that you need to unlock something is no longer part of the game.

I think this is one of their main goals to get Ficsmas done in time. If you´d like to do the old ones you simply can change your date within your OS but keep in mind this can cause some trouble with other programs (like AV definitions or other dependencies which rely on OS given time) which are most likely minor as long as you change your date back after playing the game and are using your PC solely for gaming.
A Halloween Event would be cool though I doubt they have the time for it.

no its the quantum computer. you used get them from the calendar and they were needed to unlock a couple crash sites on the map. but since the item isnt in the game there is no way to get that particular reward from the calendar so if nothing else they need to replace that reward at a minimum.

This is probably a done deal question but, do you guys/ gals know if A Fix-a-ween event is even going to happen. For me personally I would love to be able to build a SpOoKy factory alongside and or with the Fix-mas factory. To be honest i love the Fix-mas event, But i feel like a Fix-a-ween would be a landslide of an event especially with the players that love Halloween theme/ and or event

Quite confident that this halloween we won't have one even if they think to make one....
They told that they are working for a revisit of FICS-mas with some new touches and surprises...
Also they told (no promise) that they are thinking at other festivity.... but nothing known yet... and you know how secretive they are :)

Will be interesting to see what they do with other festivities.. Halloween is not celebrated anywhere near as widely as Christmas..
