don't be too hard on yourself with beautyfying; FICSIT just wants you to be efficient at this point ;)
for video guides on ANYTHING that could possibly matter at any stage, even after all these years, i'd still recommend to check out TotalXclipse video content on YT.
(not sure if YT links are allowed here but you'll find him pretty easy via g00gle search)
he has vids available on everything satisfactory related. basic starter base builds, fluid management, power setup, curve building, recipe comparison, general tipps & tricks, beginner's guides, you name it. he's a good guy and explains everything detailed enough and also in proper english language.
another project he has/had running is/was satisfactorytipps_com. with guides, layouts, tools etc. i'm not sure if that site has been updated to 1.0 though. but it might be worth a looksee as well. or just visit him on twitch live stream and say hi over there. Total & chat will always help with any question you'll come up with :)
there are plenty of good content creators out there; no doubt. i only recommend Total because that's where it all started for me when it came to details.
(it all started with josh/LGIO. but that's not something i'd recommend for beautyfying or management logic lol)
