After completing you can keep building factories or do a new save
The story is divided into a couple parts
Phase 9 is one, collecting alien artifacts is another, and apparently hard drives is the third.
later stages need so much stuff built its gonna take a long time.
For someone who knows how to play, 90 to 120 hours, again focusing just on completing project assembly.
If you are Epiphanie 21 hours, or 3 hours and 26 minutes using glitches.
Story wise... I don't want to spoil stuff but as someone mentioned, there's not much of it and to me it doesn't feel like it's complete. There's no "final reveal" that I was hoping for.
PS: I'm yet to complete 2 rail achievements (haven't placed a single rail so far), unlocking 3 last researches in MAM and doing the 1000 coupon statue, so there's still some content to go through. I would also love to do all Uranium > Plutonium > Ficsonium utilization as I've never done nuclear power in Satisfactory because it was so annoying.
Looted about a third of the map, all built nicely, environment-non-destructive, modular future prove and efficient with good recipes. No trains in need yet. No ideling, but lot's of planning/thinking/researching, no skyroads.
To me a central quetion seems to be: do you have creatures on hostile or passive?
If I think of killing all the creatures while looting (even with rifles), I would have give up on the game! And discovering Pure Aluminium after builing the Alu Fab ... (I've built them in v0.7 and 0.8)
Because I most like trouble solving and planning the unplanable, but not fighting. Or is it so that if you enjoy fights, the time in need doesn't really matter? Thinking of dieing 3 km away from home constantly, visiting places multiple times because of lack of skills, etc,
Usually I study the map for topography and good reciepes online, then go by hand scanner and my imagination. As you would if going on a wildness safari on Earth II. :)
There's no race, but maybe I'm just sloooow ... but I do not like end up chaotic or dead, as in my first save in 0.7.
Jetpack + explosive rebars solve any problem.
You needn't worry about creatures respawns in the production areas, because certain amount of powered buildings disables them.
As for the non-production areas - let them respawn - you have no business there ;-)
Maybe I'll give it a try when I get bored constructing and/or in need of more adrenalin.
:)
Also recommend visiting them at night
