Or it's not ticked and you need to tick to use inventory first. Either way, tick box, at top of inventory (or DD inventory).
What, I'm tired and in an airport so I can't check which way it is.
Tick box definitely exists, though.
(Seriously, look after yourselves, your factory rebuild #136 can wait, there's always tomorrow).
maybe, because a dimensional depot fed by a production line can then start producing again...
very usefull for item such as concrete or plastic, tho nothing like building tons of dimensional depot intake can fix, but at mercer sphere cost i guess. sure there's plenty but i suppose it's an exploration issue,
Like the only time you will need to grab any mats is to start a mega build. LIke I built a massive storage mall, and I rarely go in there. Its really weird cause I over-engineered it.
Never had to grab a stack of Silica or Quartz, or Iron Rods... rarely need to restock on Cables or Wire.
Sometimes if I am about to build something I will just manually take out the stacks from the Dimensional Storage and by the time I run out of those items, the Dimensional Storage is restocked. I built a 2 Nuclear Pasta per minute factory with nothing in my inventory but ammo and bombs.
My issue is doing a big build and often placing things that aren't aligned properly, so I dismantle and replace it. Unless I build from Inventory first ,I end up with a bunch of building materials in my inventory. And the DD is already full again, so I can't pop them back into DD.
What use case is there for NOT clearing the mats from your inventory first?
Is there ever a time you want something to stay in your inventory, and don't want it to be used for building/crafting? The only item I carry in my inventory is Jetpack Fuel. Everything else is in DD.
I would just pull stacks out from DD in those cases.
