With 1.0 how does one set up the Dedicated Server?

i wanna host a world for my friends to build in. I'm looking at guides but most, if not all, were made before 1.0. Are they still applicable? Any advice would be highly appreciated.

The official discord has whole sections around dedicated servers and the known issues that can occur with them, etc.

Still applicable....
Also in addition to guides, look at wiki (official one with GG in name)

In there you can find eventually a few options that could be new and useful in particular needs

I made a dedicated server on Google servers.... With Linux...

Should be fairly easy if you know basic linux
