Rocket Fuel is a winner!
Went through great lengths to get coal, sulfur, fuel and nitrogen gas to my blenders to make the alternate "Nitro Rocket Fuel" for 150 m/3 p/m. A fuel generator burns 4.17 Rocket Fuel p/m. So with that 150 you can run almost 36 generators per blender. Two power shards and four Somersloops will get you 600 m/3 or almost 144 generators. A good 35,750 MW's from just one blender!

Note: Minus the 750 MW's to run the blender :)

Also, that ONE iron plate needed... why the hell?
u mean the one Hor Refinery a little overclocked to fit a diluted fuel blender that goes straight into the nitro rocker fuel blender? ye insane Number of machines: 3 steps to get 150 rocket fuel ( minus the miners and stuff)

I have 8 refineries making heavy oil residue sent to three blenders making diluted fuel for three blenders making rocket fuel to generate over 100 GW's. Only one oil, coal, sulfur and nitrogen node for all that power. If I need more power there are lots more nodes out there.

Overclock them, it's 56 @ 250% + 2 @ 200% per 600m3 pipe for a total of 174 for 1800m3.

I'm considering overclocking some, but that many is a ton of power shards. Fairly sure near 600 is more than I have from the entire game collecting them so far.

@Xsedo - good point about overclocking the refinery to turn it into a direct feed! Probably would've come to that conclusion eventually myself, but this saves me the effort!

Just finished my Rocket fuel Plant using Turbo Fuel. 2800 Turbofuel /min. Atm funneled into 280 Fuel Gens OC to 240% (consumes 10/min then and made it easier ^^). Was tedious to build but I wanted to save the sulfur for later plans :)

is it worth going out of my way to make rocket fuel for jetpacks or is it similar to turbofuel
already automating power so i dont plan on using it for power

The Jetpack shoots you way up (like 200 feet) with rocket fuel. Better have your parachute ready.

The Explorer won't go any faster, but when you put a stack (100) of rocket fuel in there, you won't need anymore for months :)

You'll need aluminum ingots to make the containers.

That worked :)

Just added a little more oil and a packager and off the little drones go :)

For those who want to do this, the best way I found out to get sulphur is to just make it from iron, north of the map on the cliff behind the oil fields, there are 4 pure iron patches, I use these with the normal Sam deposit in the caves in the north west of the map and it produces enough sulphur for 240 rocket fuel/min which makes like 2.14 GW

With 32 sloops you can turn 600 oil into 4800 rocket fuel (1152 generators/288GW)

This requires these alts : Heavy Oil Residue (Refinery), Diluted Fuel (blender), Nitro Rocket fuel (blender).

And the best part about rocket fuel? Zero fluid dynamics, it's a gas.

The amazing thing was, I got all the power I needed to complete the game and more, but the only oil I consumed came from one of those cracks in the ground you might normally get Nitrogen Gas from. Didn't even use all that. Had a large tank holding the excess crude oil. Plus I had over 65,000 m3 of rocket fuel in storage.

How much do these pressurized oil node deliver?
I don't have the technology yet but I see like one center and then 5-6 satelite nodes.
What's the average net oil rate of such a cluster, give or take?

Rocket fuel is also very good for powering drone networks. Each drone burns around 300MW in flight, so a single rocket fuel plant can keep a dozen+ drones going around.

what about jetpack and rocket fuel resp. ionized fuel - what are the perks?
Doc✪Hollywood Dec 13, 2024 @ 11:35am
thank you

I open an own thread for this, lets discuss over there.

Depends on the purity of the nodes. 30/60/120 m³/min from impure/normal/pure node at 100%. Can be overclocked to 250%. Not all nodes might have the same purity in a resource well cluster.

Yes, but even if it was overclocked to 250% (its only at 100%, because I have the excess oil) and the train with 2 tankers are full, how could you make all of the rocket fuel I have and also a large amount of excess crude oil. I have 140 fuel generators, but about half of them are dormant.

I haven't been on that save in about 2.5 months. Maybe there was a bug that was fixed.
