Water becoming nuclear uranium waste?
I have some water extractors that, well, start extracting water. But after some time, it stops extracting and where it should be 2m² water it is saying 999 Nuclear Uranium Waste. And it stops extracting water. If I delete it and make it again, it starts extracting water again until it again becomes nuclear uranium waste. What is this? How can I solve this?

Are you by chance up in the Pink Forest? If so, this is a known issue. Move the Water Extractor to a different nearby water source and it should work without problems.

Well ♥♥♥♥. Every water source is either still in the pink forest or really far away or way down.

You know if there are any plans to patch this?

Zoom into the Map at Red Forest. There are slighty darker blues, where the extractors work without a problem (at least for me) whereas the brighter blues will change to nuclear Uranium. You see this at the waterfall, right?
This topic is already on https://questions.satisfactorygame.com/ also and I guess it will be fixed or handled in other ways (like "not deep enough" or such things).

Just move a little ways up the river.

Reading the QA site, it would appear it was previously patched out due to players whinging, but the tickets are still open from years ago, suggesting this is intended behaviour, whether players like it or not.

On the other hand, the fact that temporary workarounds exist suggests it's a bug.

Its an old bug they had patched in EA so yes it will be fixed.

Hmm, I'm gonna try that about the darker blue parts

Doesn't seem like something intended, since if you hover above it says it's still water
