What's the point of the Pulse Nobelisk?

It does low damage, and the explosion doesn't seem to propel you very well. What's the point of the Pulse Nobelisk?

If you have the jetpack, you can get really good at throwing them mid-flight to extend your air time!

Also, you can one-shot a lot of mobs by flinging them off cliffs.

Combining Jetpack with Blade Runners, Pulse Nobelisk is the hands-down fastest way to traverse the map without using hypertubes/vehicles because the propulsion from 3-4 grenades is absolutely cracked. It can easily propel you faster than even Mk.5 Conveyors horizontally.

I highly recommend automating their production. You don't even need a lot either, just invest in like 6-8x Industrial Storage (each holds 50x48 = 2400) so you can continuously restock them from the Dimensional Depot when you need them.

I just tested the vertical climb rates for you (looking straight down, ALT+Click to ping):

Packaged Fuel Jetpack = 25m
Packaged Turbofuel Jetback = 50m

Pulse Nobelisk x3 = 65-70m

Packaged Fuel Jetpack + 3x Pulse = 100m
Packaged Turbofuel Jetpack + 3x Pulse = 170-210m (depends on skill/timing)

The optimal timing to achieve max height is to detonate as you are jumping to add the propulsion to your ascent's inertia, and not at the apex of your jump. It probably has to do with staying in closer proximity to the blast.

Honestly, this is the only way to get around the map. You can cross from one side to the other in 15s with 10-13 and correct positioning. Having a plentiful supply of these literally voids any and all (player) travel time.
