What pre-order? The game is out since two weeks. And was in early access for even longer.

Those who bought it in EA, get a Golden Helmet Skin, Golden Build Gun Skin, and Golden Nut Trinket For the Build Gun bonus cosmetic items.... that's it. You won't get those if you Buy now.

There are some gold cosmetics that you can get if you buy the game in Early Access.

You cannot get it now because it is already out of Early Access. Also, it's cosmetics so it didn't do anything other than tell other people that you buy it while it is in Early Access.
