Storage question (possible Spoiler)

I just got to the point where you can use void storage thing and was wondering if there was a benefit to putting one on the same item more then once. like for concrete i go thru a lot building sometimes and would butting one one each factory fill it faster and increase the storage or is it capped?

Have two loading concrete won't double the storage capacity but will double the upload speed.

The upload rate is fixed. You can only upgrade it in the mam. You can never get over 240 items even if you spend all mercer sphere on the same item.
You basicly que more stacks to be uploaded which a regular container can do too.

I just tested it and my Steel Pipes are refilling 4x as fast as Steel Beams now. But it doesn't increase the cap. The problem is it uses a Mercer Sphere to build each of them, and these are also useful for unlocking upgrades. Eventually you can find lots though.

This isnt correct. You can have multiple dimensional depots uploading the same item for faster upload speeds.
The MAM upgrades improves the upload for a dimensional depot, doubling each time. So if you have all upgrades its uploading at 240/min, if you then have two dimensional depots uploading the same part, you wont have larger storage of the parts, but they will each upload at 240/min for effectively 480/min. Its very useful for things like concrete and other materials you go thru a lot.

Yeah, just verified it too, kLuns is completely wrong. Set up a 1200/m belt feeding into 5 depots, fed it stacks of wire, and am getting 1200/m uploaded into my inventory.

No. You can increase the upload rate by having more than one per item. Though at the max upload speed I personally have never managed to run out of stored items so far.

ya i have only done 2 of the upgrades so far was looking for a fix till i get the stuff to unlock them
