Whats with the time been playing alerts?

O So I been grinding out parts today for my next elevator uploads and because of this I have had the game running most the day sometimes in the background while I wait out the task being completed. Anyways I have noticed these pop ups on the left side like this one says 4 hours and I just had one for 6 hours

So whats the deal why are these even part of the game as they sort of make no sense relating to the game at least

You can turn those off in the menu.

It's just the devs looking out for you. I believe it's the in thing to take time away from your computer these days.
Turn them off if you don't want them. It's in the settings menu.

OK cool yeah not an issue but never remembered this in EA version but maybe just never noticed them who knows.

You should do 15 minutes breaks every 24 hours ;)

Well, the devs know this game is dangerously addictive, so they have those notices to remind you to take a walk or drink or breathe.

i actually found myself looking at the 10 hour notice the other day and went, ".... i better do something else for a bit"

100% agree with this.
Time goes by extremely quickly on this game and I think the devs know it.

It was allready in the game but then with an interval of 22 hours.
Let's Game It Out has a video where he gets warned for playing over 22 hours.

Well believe it or not playing games for 6 hours isn't the best thing for you. Its there to remind people you've been playing for a long time because you, as you probably know, you can get lost in games and time flys by.

If you don't like it, turn it off. If a feature isn't for you and is for someone else, thats fine.

I've gotten 16hr notices a couple of times and saw the 24hr "Server Will Restart Soon" notice once. (There is no server in single-player mode; not in the traditional sense anyway.) CSS is just being a little cheeky with these notices. I think of it in terms of a mildly concerned friend or family member tapping me on top of my head to get me out of my game trance or nudging me awake so I can shut the game off and go to bed. For the record, I'm not sitting in front of a screen for 6-8-12 or 24hrs at a time. I'm just letting the factory do it's thing while I do mine IRL I mean, when you''re producing 10-15 parts per minute and you need 500+, you've got a little time to go out and touch grass or get something to eat. lol
